Arrival by train: good for the environment and totally free of stress. An arrival by train to Lech in Austria is a great way to reach your holiday in the Arlberg Massif.
The Langen train station at the Arlberg is the highest located fast train junction in Europe. Once you have arrived at the train station only a further 15 kilometres separate you from Lech. With the post bus or the taxi you will bridge the last distance within approximately 20 minutes. Directly next to the Post Office in Lech you will find the Lech-Oberlech cable car station. Here your luggage will be taken and sent up directly to your hotel room via the underground tunnel system of Oberlech. On arrival you will also receive a ticket for your cable car ride to Oberlech.

Using the Cable Cars During Winter
During winter you can also purchase your ski pass for the duration of your stay from 4pm onwards at the lower terminus of Lech. You can then take the cable car to Oberlech. These run from 7am until 1am non stop. Once you have arrived in Oberlech, you will already see Hotel Goldener Berg. It is only another 50 metres on foot to your holiday retreat high above Lech in Austria.
