Sun skiing in the Alps

Relax in the sun loungers on the various mountain hut terraces

March is the month in the year, when you will probably be able to enjoy the most sun, on top of the mountains. Spend the beginning of spring at our Goldener Berg Hotel and enjoy sun-filled activities at this regenerative time of the year.

Skiing and sunshine in the Austrian alps
Skiing and sun

March is one of the loveliest times of the year on the Arlberg. There is enough snow to ensure your skiing fun and at the same time the sun comes out more often. Enjoy perfect visibility over the mountains of Vorarlberg, in this special light, and relax on the sun terraces. The ski region around our Goldener Berg Hotel provides you with guaranteed snow until May. In the springtime, when temperature rise slightly, the snow melts a little bit during the day while it freezes at the night again. This procedure produces a crispy surface called firn – which is very popular with skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.

Enjoy the sun

After a lovely day of skiing you can soak up the sun on our terrace at the Goldener Berg Hotel. Make yourself comfortable on one of the loungers whilst enjoying the wonderful spring sunshine on the Arlberg. Savouring the sun at 1,750m above sea level, is a unique experience which you can experience during your stay at our hotel.
