Body and soul – wandering through Lechtal
The whole year through, every day of the year
Hiking season kicks off long before the last patches of snow disappear. When you put on snow shoes and leave your marks on fresh snow. Later, when spring reaches the land, a different set of wonders appear by the wayside. When nature comes to life in the mountains, its spirits are revived. And when finally, after a sunny summer, a splendid tapestry of color marks the beginning of autumn, life on Arlberg becomes quiet. The hiking trails and pastures are deserted, and the animal world slowly prepares for winter. A deep blue sky outshines the solitude – and you might let your thoughts wander off to Goldener Berg and the warmth of a truly unique place.
Hiking – time for a time-out
Whether you are an experienced hiker, planning trips to the wider surroundings or you prefer to take part in a guided hike on the trails through Lechtal, enjoying the beauty of nature on a pleasant walk, jazzed up with a few exercises – you’ll find it relaxing and exiting at the same time, with 350 km of trails in all degrees of difficulty awaiting you. One place to start: Where the Lech creek has its source in the Zug valley and the Lech Trail to Füssen in Germany begins, a walk from the source to the fall.
All around Goldener Berg you’ll find ideal conditions to rediscover your inner strength and fill it with new life. Your time here is a time-out. With no rules, no diary, no appointments.
